STUDENT SUPPORT TEAM
The Student Support Team at St. Paul Parish School is an on-site review committee with the following purposes:
- Recognize, acknowledge, and respond to students’ strengths, challenges, and learning styles in order to help them be successful
- To create a forum in which teachers can discuss challenges they or their students are experiencing which interrupt the learning process
- To assist teachers in developing interventions and strategies to enhance the learning process
- To support parents and teachers at meetings with recommendations for interventions, screenings, evaluations, and placement
The Student Support Team works with teachers and parents to provide support for the diverse needs of students. Team members include the principal, assistant principal, academic specialists, and teachers.
