Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 18, 2008. Join Captains Bernie & Donna Dorsey and Bill & Krista Johnson for an evening of high seas adventure and fun! The Auction is our #1 fundraiser for the school and plays an integral part in the schools operating budget. Through our fundraisers we are able to provide a quality Catholic education to our students while keeping tuition costs low.
Enclosed in today’s Voyager is an Auction Procurement Form. Summer is a great opportunity to find fun and unique items for the auction- please think of us on that fabulous vacation or while hitting that great summer blowout sales! If you want to get a jumpstart on auction procurement but can’t think of any ideas, please call our Silent Auction Procurement Chair, Shannon Kirk, at 344-1405. She and her team are compiling a list of items they would like to see this year, and would love to give you an idea or two!
The auction is a month early this year, so work has already begun! We are looking for people who are interested in serving on the Oral Auction Procurement Team. Also, new this year, we are looking for a representative from each class to act as Auction Liaison. This person would work in conjunction with the Room Parent and be the source of contact regarding anything about the Auction for their respective class. If you are interested in either one of these positions or just want to join the crew, please contact the Dorseys, Johnsons or Jessica Barnhart.
