St. Paul Parish School Welcomes You! Meet Our Principal, Kelli Braud

Mrs.
Kelli Braud
Dear St. Paul Parents, Friends and Families,
Welcome to St. Paul Parish School! It has been a busy and exhilarating
summer, and I can't begin to tell you how exciting it has been to come to
work each day and be a part of such an incredible community. I am
looking forward to getting to know you all!
First, a bit about myself. I was born and raised in Eugene and attended the
University of Louisiana and later the University of Oregon. I am married to
Denny, and we have four wonderful children: Kayla, 14, a student at Marist;
Megan, 10, who will be in the 5th grade here at St. Paul; Joey, 3, who will
be in St. Paul's pre-school; and Andrew who is 2 years old.
Before coming to St. Paul Parish School, I was the Vice-Principal at O'Hara
Catholic School in Eugene. I also served as Curriculum Coordinator and
taught 2nd grade at O'Hara. Prior to that, I taught 4th grade and
middle school in the Springfield School District. I have over 15 years of
teaching experience and have assumed many leadership roles in the schools
where I taught.
Family and faith is very important to me. Our family loves to travel, and we
especially love sports. I've coached soccer, basketball and softball for my
children's teams. As a matter of fact, I played softball in college for
University of Louisiana while Denny played baseball there. The tradition
continues with Kayla and Megan playing ASA softball in the summer.
Kayla will be playing in the national tournament in Kentucky this summer. We
enjoy attending Duck sporting events, especially football games!
I have volunteered as a Sacramental Preparation teacher at St. Mary Catholic
Church for eight years and have also served on the Stewardship Committee
there.
I have many exciting projects to share with you which will be detailed in
the August edition of the Voyager. You can also find current
information on this web site.
Until then, may God's blessings shine upon all of you as you enjoy the rest
of your summer.
In Christ's peace,
Kelli Braud
